Reviews
This is the kind of place you can bring anyone to for an enjoyable meal. The interior is very nice while the vibe still feels welcoming and casual. The food is made with a lot of care, without being pretentious. The service was very friendly and attentive—when a dish was eaten, the plate would be cleared almost immediately. It’s a great place for a date night or for a group or family outing.
As far as food, everything we had was good. We were impressed by how perfect the Belgian-style fries were. The garlic bread is a must, my husband loved the rigatoni (and he has high standards for pasta and Italian sausage), the steak was perfectly cooked and was accompanied by an elegantly prepared root vegetable gratin, and the roast chicken was juicy and flavorful.
I was craving French onion soup, which was tasty — though my preference would have been to use baguette for the crouton, give it more cheese and broil longer so it could have more of a crust. But that is all personal preference—it was still delicious and I enjoyed eating it.
We were too stuffed to try dessert but will definitely be back.
Super cute atmosphere. We got the garlic bread, shrimp, duck leg, radiatore & crème brûlée . Everything was super tasty. The duck leg was us trying something new and didn’t necessarily love it and the crème brûlée had a burnt after taste but still a great experience over all!
First time here this past week…WOW, my question to myself is WHY?? This place is absolutely amazing. First of all, they offer valet parking, love it. The place is spacious and very clean atmosphere. The staff was inviting and bubbly. Our server Julia was fantastic. The food and the cocktails were amazing. This place is a true treasure to Portland. I would highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a wonderful dinner experience.
Awesome food, service and ambience. The garlic bread was so awesome that my husband actually wanted to order more. We loved the mushroom risotto as well.
This is our go-to spot for Happy Hour in Portland! The food, price and ambience is excellent! We have been here many times for an early dinner! The Happy Hour is daily from 4-5 pm with a special menu/prices.
We normally order the burger or the pasta bolognese.
Also, the staff are all very friendly :)
We reserved dinner for Valentines and highly recommend. Great ambiance, service, and food was superb! We started with Chile Shrimp great spicy flavor and came with grilled crostini to sop up the garlic sherry vinegar sauce. Then we had French onion soup with a nice deep flavor although I’d like a little more cheese. We did a half risotto instead of pasta for next course. Best mushroom risotto I’ve had. Entree my wife had scallops and I had duck confit. Good portions to really enjoy the full menu. Finished with sharing a lovely creme brûlée.
Our server, Alejandro, was absolutely wonderful and kind!! The desserts, especially the creme brulee (which I got on the house for my birthday!!), were super delicious! The bottle of wine we got was great as well. However, the pasta was a bit disappointing. It was very expensive ($28) for not very unique pasta. The pasta, nor the sauce tasted super fresh and tasted a bit cheap. I have definitely had way better pasta for that price. I do recommend stopping in for a creme brulee though!
I had my birthday dinner at Serratto, a party of 8 of us in one of their private rooms. We really enjoyed the vibe of the restaurant and the room was simple, bright, and nice. I had the Margarita on their cocktail list and then a drink with a bit of spice, maybe called the Spicy Mike. Either way, both delicious and would get again. We shared a handful of appetizers - Caesar Salad, Ahi Tuna Tartare “Nicoise”, Chile Shrimp, Ciabatta Garlic Bread, and the Pizza Del Giorno which had red onion, green olives, sausage, fresh mozzarella and gorgonzola. All the appetizers were delicious! My favorites were the tuna, Caesar, and bread but I’d order them all again. For dinner I had the Rigatoni which I also really liked and would recommend. Everyone else enjoyed their appetizers entrees as well for the most part. My brother got the pork chop and said it needed more seasoning on the pork and the polenta, but that the pork was cooked well. The service was good as well both before the dinner for setting up/updating the reservation and from our server. I’ll definitely be back!!
